Head of laboratory: doc. Ing. Jaroslav Džmura, Ph.D.
The laboratory is used mainly for teaching bachelor’s and engineering students at the Department of Electrical Power Engineering, but also for scientific research purposes. There is a teaching in the laboratory, which is mostly of a computational nature. In the laboratory there are panels on which are placed switching, safety and other electrical installation devices of various companies. There are several switchboard cabinets in the laboratory (connection, electricity meter, compensation, etc.) with the appropriate instrumentation.
Subjects and outputs of education:
- Bachelor study: Subject Operation of power plants (Basic knowledge and skills in the field of calculation of steam and heat consumption of thermal power plants).
- Bachelor study: Subject Electrical installations and stations (Basic knowledge and skills in the design and implementation of electrical installations and switchboards).
Laboratory equipment:
- electrical installation cabinets and switchboards from Hasma – connection, electricity, compensation, etc.
- F&G panel – circuit breakers, circuit breakers, other devices
- Hasma panel – fuse bases for low voltage fuses
- ABB panel – circuit breakers, circuit breakers, circuit breakers, modular devices, switches, sockets
- OEZ panel – modular devices, circuit breakers and fuses
- Schneider Electric power switchboard with three bays and control box
